55 gallon steel drum with an open head, black finish, and bolt ring cover, built new from ASTM-grade carbon steel and UN rated for liquids. The removable black cover has 2″ and 3/4″ NPT Tri-Sure style plug and flange fittings, so you can either open the full top or fill and dispense through the bungs. A Solid Seal bolt ring eliminates the jam nut, so the drum closes with a single wrench. Confirm proper closure with a calibrated torque wrench. The interior is unlined and treated with a rust inhibitor that protects the steel before filling; it is not a lining.
